At J&J, we offer a variety of classes for all ages and abilities, coached by trained staff.
The benefits of tumbling and trampoline are endless! Classes are designed to develop each athlete's flexibility, endurance, strength, balance and discipline. Valuable traits such as tenacity, work ethic, persistence, sportsmanship and more are learned. Hundreds of athletes have benefitted from our program in their personal, educational and athletic lives.
If you have never been to J&J before, call our main office to schedule a free trial class! Trials are scheduled where there is availability, in an age or level-appropriate class, and can occur at any point except during the first and last week in a session.

Tumbling skills learned during Sparkler classes include forward and backward rolls, handstands, beginner backbends and cartwheels. Trampoline skills include tuck, pike and straddle jumps as well as beginner half-turns, front drops, and backdrops.
6 to 8 years old (Allstar 1), 9+ (Allstar 2)
While classes are structured around the child's ability, students will begin perfecting cartwheels and learning handstand tuck & rolls, round-offs, backbends, and front walk-overs. Trampoline skills include the basics (tuck, pike and straddle jumps) as well as front drops and back drops.
Possible skills include backhand springs and front tucks.
As Superstars, our athletes learn power hurdle round-offs and work toward performing backhand springs independently.
On trampoline, front flipping skills, back pull-overs, and important skill combinations are learned.
In the Shooting Star class, athletes will begin performing series of back handsprings. On trampoline, they will begin learning backward flipping skills as well as front twisting flips.
Athletes will continue advancing at an appropriate progression up to skills performed at USAG Level 10 in both tumbling and trampoline.
We moved to Winnebago in 1994 and I was looking for an activity for my two sons, Michael and Philip. After their first class they came home tumbling all over my living room floor!
They went on to represent J&J all across the United States and places like Switzerland, Germany, Amsterdam and more. Our gym's reputation preceded us. Everyone knew of J&J because of the tremendous athletes our boys had trained alongside.
Both Michael and Philip went on to become USA Gymnastics team members. Michael represented J&J at the Olympic Trials for the 2008 and 2012 Olympics.
Both Michael and Philip gave back to the sport by becoming coaches themselves. We are ever grateful for the opportunity that J&J has afforded our sons!
