Athletes in this class also have the opportunity to participate in a recital hosted by J&J!

Our ballet/tap classes are offered separately for athletes age 3-4 and 5-8. In these classes, instructors work to expand their students' current dance knowledge.
Flexibility is a key skill worked on with the 3-4 year olds while balance and overall athleticism is the main focus of the 5-8 year old class.

In this class, dancers implement basic jazz technique and learn floor skills to create awesome routines.
Body awareness, partner work, balance and flexibility are also main focuses.
Through ballet and lyrical styles, students have a higher focus on technique, artistry, story-telling and choreography.
When focusing on tap, students work on advanced sounds, counting and rhythm.
In this class, dance knowledge is further increased as students are learning a new style.
Technique, artistry, story-telling, rhythm, flexibility and balance are key focuses.
Owner Lindsey Hearn offers several opportunities for athletes of all ages to take private lessons.
These lessons can focus on any style – ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop and lyrical.
My daughter Aubrey began dancing for Miss Lindsey in 2019 and we quickly learned she was born to dance! She stepped out of her comfort zone to perform a solo which has propelled her skills and confidence.
Recently, I lost my job and we were worried about how we would continue to pay for dance. Aubrey, being the kindhearted person she is, said, "Mom, I will quit dance if I need to help." That was not an option for us!!!
With the encouragement from Ms. Lindsey I started a business called, "Simply JEN." This business has helped us support Aubrey's dancing dreams! We are so blessed that we found Ms. Lindsey and J&J!
